    German delegation confirms the promising opportunities for the export of Saudi products to Germany








    The delegations of Germany finished a workshop organized by the Chamber recently in Dammam and Jubail city branch under ' export to Germany ' and it has special attendance. The workshop that saw the presence of the Member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber Abdul Mohsen Abdel Rahman Farag in Dammam, and Jubail Chairman mutlaq Bin Nabaa confirmed that Saudi Arabia has promising opportunities to market a wide range of products in Germany including automotive components, chemicals and metal products. The representative of the German Liaison Office for Economic Affairs Arabic (GESALO) Mr. Andreas Herginrother and Mr. Ganlotz Muller has enriched the guest with presentations discussing possible ways for companies to enter the German market. In the German legal focused on Mr. aolfgharighor Schulz on the legal aspects on how to enter the German market. During the meeting, this was attended by many business people on both sides of the experience of the chemical methanol company (industrialists) in exporting their products to the German market, and in particular article DMF which are mostly used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
    The Board member of the Chamber Abdul Mohsen Abdel Rahman Farag said that Saudi Arabia has a lot to offer to the German market and is now able to manufacture world-class products.  The Workshop commended the positive role played by the German Trade Office in Jubail Industrial City, with a view to enhancing trade and mutual investment in the two countries. German officials have said that Saudi Arabia had become a world factory of chemical and petrochemical products.

    According to official statistics, Saudi exports amounted to Germany in 2013, about 1.8 billion riyals, while German exports to Saudi Arabia rose to more than $ 44.8 billion, causing a large deficit in percentage terms and the current efforts of the two parties must result in narrowing this gap in the future.  And German technology and products are very popular in the Saudi market. The Kingdom currently has over 700 German companies with combined investments in accordance with the General Authority for investment of more than $ 8 billion. Member of the Chamber Board –Alfarag said to the German business sector to take advantage of attractive and economic policy package announced by the Saudi Government to foreign investors.
